Jana Evensen, Pharm.D.
Jana describes herself as a Functional Pharmacist, one who focuses on the root cause not the symptom. She uses her background as a pharmacist to test, evaluate and help the women of Northwest Arkansas. She loves her job and the women she meets!
In 2011, Jana came to Collier’s to focus on Women’s Health and specifically Bio-Identical Hormone Replacement Therapy (BHRT). In her primary role at Collier Compounding, she specializes in meeting with patients and practitioners to educate them on the benefits and methods to achieve proper hormone balance and stress recovery.
Jana has over 37 years of professional pharmacy experience including operating a corner drug store in Colorado, working on the Navajo Reservation, and teaching pharmacology to nursing students. She graduated with her pharmacy degree from the University of New Mexico in 1982. Jana’s family has lived in the Ozarks since emigrating from Tennessee in 1840. Jana, and her husband Dewayne, own a ranch in Proctor, OK where they breed, train, and sell gaited trail horses. They are also active members of St. Brigid’s Catholic Church in Tahlequah.
Denise Roark, Pharm.D.
Denise says the best part of working at Collier Drug is getting to know the patients and having the opportunity to care for them and their families. She has been serving Northwest Arkansas since 1995. Denise works at several of our Collier locations, including Collier Compounding where she is trained as a pharmacist specializing in Bio-Identical Hormones Replacement (BHRT) and Women’s Health. She has a passion for helping women maintain optimal health and wellness throughout each stage of life.
Denise received her Bachelor’s degree from Middle Tennessee State University before earning her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Tennessee College of Pharmacy. In 2000, she received the “Distinguished Young Pharmacist Award” by the Arkansas Pharmacists Association, and in 2018 received the “JB Hays Community Needs Award”. She is interested in lifelong learning and exploring new ideas, and collaborating with other professionals on these projects.
Denise lives in Fayetteville with her husband, Rod, and their teenagers, Ryan and Olivia. Denise volunteers at Welcome Health, formerly known as the Free Health Clinic, and is a member of the Arkansas Pharmacists Association. In her spare time she enjoys attending Ryan’s pole vault meets and Olivia’s soccer games, as well as reading, being outdoors, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.
Corrie Wells, Certified Health Coach
Corrie completed her Health Coach certification through The Health Coach Institute in 2019. She has been a Pharmacy Technician since 2001 earning her National Certification in 2010 and has been a member of the Collier Team since 2008.
Corrie has always loved working for a community pharmacy, which has allowed her to help patients become healthier and build relationships with them as a bonus. She has specialized in compounding pharmacy since 2010, where she helps provide patients with custom, personalized medication that is not available at most pharmacies. Corrie moved to become a Health Coach when we realized patients’ need for additional support. We want to walk with you in your healthcare journey, providing direction and support along the way.
Corrie’s passion is empowering others to take action in their own lives so they can begin living in a way that is OPTIMAL for their health. When Corrie is not at the lab she can be found running the dirt trails of Northwest Arkansas and maybe even riding her bike between runs. She loves being in nature and is a devoted dog mom to her golden retriever, Echo.
